These are working draft terms for owner and qualified legal review before launch. The owner must provide the legal operator, contact details, effective date and applicable law before using them as final terms.
Membership and cost
Latched is a free private peer-support community for breastfeeding moms aged 18 and older. Onboarding requires you to confirm that you are an adult; this is self-confirmation, not identity or age verification. Keep your account secure and do not share access.
Peer support, not medical care
Latched is a peer-support community. For medical concerns, contact a qualified healthcare professional. For an emergency, contact local emergency services. Member experiences and AI drafts are not professional advice, diagnoses or treatment recommendations.
Community conduct
Follow the community guidelines available from the site footer. Be respectful of different feeding choices. Do not harass, shame, promote unsolicited products, disclose another person's private information or post content you do not have permission to share. Only upload photos that you have the right to share and avoid identifying children or others unnecessarily.
Your posts and moderation
You are responsible for your submitted content and for checking its accuracy. New posts require moderator approval by default; edited posts may return to review. Comments and reactions open on approved posts. Staff can approve or remove posts and remove comments. Additional reporting, blocking and account-restriction tools are not available yet. Private membership does not prevent copying or screenshots.
Optional AI drafts
AI assistance is optional and requires your agreement before experience text is sent to the writing service. Generated text may contain errors. Review and edit it before you deliberately submit a post. AI never shares a post automatically and must not be relied on for medical advice.
Content rights
Only share content you own or have permission to use. Submitting content makes it available for display and moderation within the community. Before launch, qualified counsel should confirm any license wording, copyright-complaint process and permissions needed for operating the service; no broader reuse or advertising permission is claimed by this draft.
Privacy and ending participation
Read the privacy notice available from the site footer. You can edit or delete your posts and comments. Account deletion is not available in settings yet; the owner must provide a contact and deletion process before launch. Uploads and backups may require a separate retention policy.
Availability, disputes and changes
The owner must complete legally appropriate terms for service availability, termination, liability, dispute resolution, applicable law and communication of changes. These subjects depend on the operator and jurisdiction and are deliberately not invented here.
